Elizabeth and Benjamin got to go home today. Here's Mom trying to get Benjamin into his winter jumper for the car ride home; it's harder than it seems.

Benjamin Has Arrived

Benjamin was born yesterday at 11:36 AM.  He weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz.  Benjamin decided to have his hand up by his face during the delivery, which caused some difficulties for Elizabeth; but Mom and baby are both doing well now.  Here are some pictures from the big day:

By popular demand (thanks for asking Carolyn), here is a picture of Liz, who is now in the middle of her 31st week.  Benjamin's presence has been clearly apparent for a while now, and it has been made more apparent through the increased frequency and strength of his kicks, punches, and rolls.  If his in utero conduct is any indication, Benjamin will likely be a handful.
